The Sweet Seventeen Rihanna has a cameo role in the new Bring It On movie, tentatively named Bring It On Yet Again.
The third installment of cheerleader film franchise BRING IT ON, which is currently shooting in Los Angeles, where a pair of rival squads compete for a chance to appear in Rihanna’s upcoming television special is Beyonce’s sister Solange Knowles (”Johnson Family Vacation,” “The Proud Family”) and Hayden Panettiere (”Ice Princess,” “Raising Helen”).
Rihanna said about her new career “It’s weird, but it’s also fun. I’m really enjoying it,” but “Singing was always the bigger picture, but I definitely want to get into acting as well.”
More than acting in the film, PON DE REPLAY singer will also play a special musical performance - which song Rihanna will sing is a secret until now.
Rihanna missed a couple of lines during the rehersals, but went through when the camera were rolling. “You get better each time you do it,” Rihanna said after her sequence.
Rihanna plans to take acting classes by next year - 2006.
Meanwhile, Rihanna is on the cross-country tour to promote her debut album Music Of The Sun.
